Obert Kadr and his son, Sherzad Obert (right), recently returned from Iraqi Kurdistan to their village of Gamish Tapa, Iraq, along with other Kurds. The Arabs fled, and since Kurdish houses were destroyed, the Kurds have taken over the Arab houses. Saddam Hussein's government kicked out the Kurds and replaced them with Arabs in the 1990's.
