After the Iraqi national football (soccer) team beat the Kurdistan all-city team (3-0) in Erbil, locals rushed to the field to be photographed with the captain of the Iraqi team, Nashat Akram. ..Nashat Akram Abid Ali made his name as the star player in Iraq's U-17s, managed by Ammo Baba, which finished 2nd in their Asian Cup qualifiers group in July, 2000.
